The upcoming Electronic Arts title Star Wars Battlefront is surely amongst the most anticipated games of the year. The registration for the upcoming beta of the game is as of yet not available to the gaming community hence any website claiming to be providing the product are fake.

Matthew Everett is EA’s Community Manager who in-order to address the issue took to Reddit and said that no beta release had officially been announced ” Registration has not been made available yet “. He further asked player to avoid any sites that were offering such service to avoid being fooled ” Do not be fooled by fake beta sign-up sites ”

The registration will come live only at starwars.ea.com as Matthew elaborates ” Our beta registration will live on our official site here: starwars.ea.com I will also be sure to post a link once it is available.”

The Star Wars battlefront beta is to be released on October this year mainly for PC, Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. As GameSpot explains the beta is extensive allowing beta users to experience 40-player Walker Assault mode and play a Survival Mission. Players will also be able to check out the mode ” Drop Zone ”

The game is set for a release on  November 17, 2015 in North America, November 19, 2015 in Australia and November 20, 2015 in the European Union. Electronic Arts also has very high exceptions from their title as Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen announced that the company is anticipating to sell at least 9-10 million copies of Star Wars: Battlefront.

In other news Rocket Launch patch 1.05 will now allow its PC players to filter out PlayStation 4 players. The step had been taken in order to address concerns whether a controller will have an (dis)advantage in-game over the keyboard and mouse.
